Established in 2013 by current MD, Machiel Marais, reNRG initially focused on developing and installing smart metering systems, but soon expanded into refining and developing the software controlling vast government installations. Organic growth has seen the company shift focus into renewable energy, specifically within the agriculture and building sectors.
Unlike many competitor companies within the ‘green industry’, reNRG will not be trying to re-invent the wheel. We’ll instead source existing concepts with a view to integrate these into our own technology, while simultaneously incorporating contemporary, cutting edge solutions which have been tried and tested within the global industry sector.
Our vision is to reIMAGINE these concepts and to engineer them so they can specifically be applied within a broader African context.
